ストレス 解説
ストレスとは、何らかの外的刺激により生じ、感じている悩みや緊張または疲労などをを感じている状態を指しています。
これらのストレスを感じているのも、ストレスを生む原因となる、ストレッサーまたは、ストレス源といわれる刺激があるために感じられるものです。
ストレス源となるストレッサーには、社会的、心理的、身体的や物理的などの外的要因があるものですが、心理学的見地から述べると、それら全てのストレッサーが悪いわけではないといいます。
このことは、セリエがストレスはスパイスであると述べたことからも、うなずけるでしょう。
ストレッサーを感じた状態であるからこそ、適度な緊張感があったり、困難やプレッサーに立ち向かって行く姿勢が芽生えたり、精神的な強さを持つことができることもあります。
困難にに立ち向かい、挑戦し終えたとの、充実感や幸福感を得られるのも、適度なストレッサーという刺激があってこそだというのです。
言ってみれば、善玉ストレス、悪玉ストレスがあるようなものだそうです。
ストレッサーが刺激となり、善となるか、悪となるかは、その刺激の大きさにもよりますが、受けてめる側の受け止め方により異なります。
そして、対処の仕方、発散方法などの対処行動によっても違ってくるようです。
